My research and teaching interests are in applied microeconomic theory. My recent research has focused on economy wide gains from structural reforms and the welfare effects of partial tariff reduction in Japan. I teach principles and intermediate microeconomics, international trade, and strategic thinking (game theory) in the FLA, and one of the two quantitative methods courses in the GPGS.
