  • Research and Teaching Interests

My research activities range from development of new estimation techniques to empirical studies of labor economics, health economics and other applied microeconomics. The current research topics include estimation of sample selection models, labor supply decisions of registered nurses, racial disparities of influenza vaccination in the U.S., and the effect of homeownership on labor market outcomes.

At Sophia University, I teach labor economics, health economics, and statistics/econometrics. In my courses, students aim at understanding theoretical concepts and applying these concepts to analyze real-world problems.
